Who am I?
My name is David. I am a married Father of three and bottom of the pecking order in a home that includes - at the time of writing at least - two dogs, two cats and a hamster. Or maybe it’s a guinea pig. I’m not sure. Her name is Izzy and she is the shape of a mouse.

Once a week, I turn the small disasters of my family life into something funny enough to make you feel better about your own.
How often will I publish?
Every Wednesday to help get you over the mid-week hump.
Occasionally I will go quiet for a couple of weeks when the pressure of putting words on a blank page becomes too much.
Why am I doing this?
Someday I would like to write a book about my life but because I don’t know how to write properly, I’m using Substack as a training ground to figure it out as I go.
